EVIDENCE OF JOY
God is turning your emptiness into fullness, your despair into delight, and your pain into praise
```Psalm 126:1 - “When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dream.”```
Life had left Naomi with nothing, her husband gone, her sons buried, and her hope seemingly lost. She returned to Bethlehem empty, weary, and bittered. But God was not finished. Through Ruth, her devoted daughter-in-law, God began weaving a tapestry of redemption. In time, Naomi held her grandson Obed in her arms, the grandfather of King David. What once seemed like an end became a divine beginning.
Psalm 126 captures that same miraculous reversal: “When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dream.” The pain was real. The sorrow ran deep. But the joy God brought was beyond imagination.
Maybe you can relate. Maybe you have lost time, missed opportunities, or endured heartbreaks that made joy feel out of reach. But here is the good news: Your past does not have the final word, God does.
Jesus Christ is the Restorer of broken stories. He can turn mourning into dancing, sorrow into singing, and captivity into freedom. Just like Zion’s restoration and Naomi’s redemption, your story is not over. Heaven is not silent about your situation. The laughter you have lost is coming back. Joy is not just a feeling, it is evidence that God is at work.
This is your season to walk out of regret and into restoration. Break free from the weight of yesterday. Joy awaits you. This is your time to dream again. God is turning your emptiness into fullness, your despair into delight, and your pain into praise. The glory of the Lord will be evident in your life, undeniable, and unshakable in Jesus name
